18 Jul On the road in Romania
We are in Romania! Internet is a luxury, and we have been spending 12 hour days on the road, eating at truck stops, and fishing hot beer out of a cooler with no ice. Such is the glamorous Dixie Chicken life!
We have just wrapped up a wonderful day on the Transfaragasan though, after staying last night in an amazing medieval fortified church turned hostel in Cristian, near Sibiu. We made it into Cristian at 10:30 pm after leaving Budapest at 7:30 in the morning. Long day to say the least! But there was a party waiting for us, with free beer! Alas, free beer is not completely free, judging by our hangovers this am.

Tonight we are camping in a soccer field/cow grazing area near Pitesi and will be heading to Constanta on the coast tomorrow for yet another party!
The team is doing great, the bus is running like a dream, and we are loving life on the road.
